A teapot filled with flowering quince sits against a royal purple enamel background. A floral motif encircles it. This compact is done in the Princess style with its scalloped edges. This style was first marketed in 1954 and continued for approximately a decade. The mirror is in excellent condition. The puff is present, but deteriorating. The sifter is present. There is not a full inner lid, but a ring present. This was designed to hold a cream powder product. All clasps are secure and working well. This compact has a diameter of 3.25". In unused condition.
