This pendant necklace features a beautiful polished turquoise oval cabochon bezel-set into a sterling silver "comet" on a sterling chain. For me, the turquoise is like a huge ice ball flying through our galaxy, getting a little too close to the sun causing melted ice (the layers of sterling) to become a gaseous tail extending away from the source of heat....
